The death occurred on Tuesday of Fr Frank O’Gara O.Carm.
Fr Frank was ordained at Clonliffe in 1963. He was a chaplain at St James’s Hospital from 1988 to 1997. He was parish priest in Whitefriar Street from 2000 to 2003 and ministered in Beaumont as curate, administrator and parish priest from 2008 to 2010.
Reposing at Gort Muire, Ballinteer, from 4pm to 7.30pm this Friday, May 26, concluding with evening prayer. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am in Terenure College Chapel followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Please pray at this time for Fr Frank’s family and friends, his brothers in the Carmelite Order, and those he worked with in the Archdiocese of Dublin.
