Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

As somebody wrote recently, our churches may be empty in these days, but so is the tomb! Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Our parish community remains one of prayer throughout this crisis. Our church is open daily from 9am to 7pm for personal visits to the Blessed Sacrament, for quiet prayer and to facilitate parishioners who wish to light a candle as they offer their intentions to the Lord. Come and visit, maintaining social distance, as you take your 2km walk. Remember those whose needs may be even greater than yours.

Mass is celebrated in the parish every day at 10am and you can join on Facebook or by telephoning the parish on (01) 8477740 and selecting option 6. If you would like to request that Mass be offered for a particular intention, please contact the parish office by telephone, selecting option 2.

We have managed to source hand sanitiser for you when you visit. We are indebted to Des, our caretaker, and to Dolores, a parish volunteer, who sanitise the surfaces in the church every day to enable us to keep it open. Please pray for them too.

Do not let your hearts be troubled but rejoice in the Resurrection!

May God bless you all,
Fr. Robert.
